Sommelier Rot (paint code LC3Q) was available on the MKV Volkswagen Golf through VW Individual. Volkswagen first presented this car at the 2004 Essen Motor Show to demonstrate the abilities of Volkswagen’s relatively new (at the time) VW Individual division.

Painted in body color were the roof spoiler and lower bumper sections — pieces that were black on standard Golfs. Volkswagen Individual also designed the bi-color Odessa 18″ ten-spoke wheels fitted with 225/40 R 18 tires.
